Below are answers to common questions
and ways you can prepare for your session
1.
Don't worry about lighting or a large space. I bring my own lighting and can make almost any space work. If there is an open space without carpet I normally will use that. While I do bring my own heater it does help to keep the space warm so baby stays comfortable especially during posing
2.
If you are doing parent and/or sibling photos I recommend everyone wearing a solid black top or tank top. Any children not in black should still be in a solid neutral colored top or dress. This puts the focus on baby while flattering everyone in the photos
3.
We want baby as sleepy as possible while I am photographing them. Usually a warm bath in the morning if umbilical cord is off followed by some interaction before I arrive..

Keep baby in a simple set of pj's that can be easily unzipped/unbuttoned (buttons are the worst invention at 2am) along with a diaper.

Try to time the morning feeding to about 10:00am. I usually arrive and it takes about 30 minutes to set up before we start the session. Normally baby will go into their deep sleep after they eat and are happy with a full belly.

The session is about 2-3 hours depending if we are including family and of course baby's cooperation. Include set up and break down time when planning for your day. I do not take any thought to you needing to eat/nap/pump/watch your favorite tv show/shower or just relax with a coffee during this time.

Relax! This is most important part and why I love doing the sessions in clients homes. I know as a mother, you feel the need to clean and get everyone ready but when you are happy it helps to keep baby happy. I work with the baby and at the end of the day they are the ones completely in charge.
After your session
If you aren't already, be sure you have Liked my Facebook page to look for sneak peeks of your session. Any images I share on Facebook you're free to SHARE.
If you do not want your imaged shared please be sure to let me know during your session.
Usually your session will take between 3-4 weeks for you to receive your gallery.
Your gallery will be emailed to you for you to choose your packages included digital images.
Once you've narrowed down your images you add the digital image of each to your cart. You then apply the PROMO code I sent in your email to receive the discount and all of the digitals will be emailed to you. Please save these to a computer at least once so you have one version with the high quality.
SHARE and PRINT!
Once you have received your images you are then free to share and print them for any personal use.
